What Averion POS does, how the trial works, and exactly what our EFRIS integration does and does not do.
General
What is Averion POS? +
A cloud-based point of sale and business management platform. It covers selling, stock, customers, suppliers, accounting and reporting in one system, with EFRIS integration on plans that include it.
Who is Averion for? +
Ugandan businesses that sell goods or services — retail shops, supermarkets, wholesalers, distributors, restaurants, pharmacies and hardware businesses, from a single counter up to multi-branch operations.
Getting started
How do I start my free trial? +
Choose Start free trial, enter your business name and details, and your workspace is created straight away. There is nothing to install.
What happens when my trial ends? +
Add a payment method to continue on your chosen plan. Your data stays in place while you decide, and you can change plan before or after the trial ends.
EFRIS
What is EFRIS? +
EFRIS is the Uganda Revenue Authority's Electronic Fiscal Receipting and Invoicing System. Businesses within its scope are required to issue fiscal receipts and invoices through it.
How does Averion integrate with EFRIS? +
Averion connects your completed sales to EFRIS so fiscal transactions are processed from the same system you sell in, and shows you the status of each one.
Do I need an EFRIS account? +
Yes. You need your own EFRIS registration and credentials from URA. Averion connects to EFRIS using those credentials — it does not register you.
Does Averion guarantee tax compliance? +
No. Averion provides the integration and visibility into fiscal transaction status. Meeting your tax obligations remains your responsibility.
Product
Can I manage inventory? +
Yes. Stock levels, movements, transfers between branches, adjustments, reorder levels and valuation are all included, from the Starter plan upwards.
Can I manage multiple branches? +
Yes. Every plan includes a branch allowance — see the pricing page for each plan's limits. Reporting rolls up across branches.
Billing
What happens after the free trial? +
You choose a plan and add a payment method. Nothing is charged during the trial.
Can I change plans? +
Yes. You can move between plans as your business changes. Existing subscribers keep their agreed price until they migrate.
